Arts KC / Live KC mural follow up

This video recaps one of the awesome events I was recently able to participate in as a leading artist. While the title of the event was for Graffitti art, I personally don't consider myself to be a graffitti artist. I highly enjoy street art, but I personally classify myself as an illustrator/fine artist. Just to clarify things, lol.

This mural project was done in part to help me promote a program that I'm a part of, where we reach out highschool/early college aged students and grant them the opportunity to be paired with a professional, local artist who teaches them the skills neccessary to create public murals within the inner KCK/KCMO area.

The collaborative mural that was  recently feautured on KCPT.org's  " Arts Upload " , July 2nd, 2015, recapping what took place during the ArtsKC / LiveKC sponsored event May 30th, 2015.

While the sculpture at the Toy Museum is largely the work of one person, our next story shows how art can be made by groups of people too. Arts KC, our Regional Arts Council, has cool new digs in the Crossroads, and they needed a signature piece, so they turned to a man who makes murals, graffiti artist JT Daniels.
