This drawing is from the AMO exhibition I hosted in 2013. It didn't actually make it into the show ( I couldn't find a frame for it last minute.) AMO is slang for "te amo" or " love you" in spanish. This show was my first professional show after graduating from college and it encapsulated my love of drawing, my search for "my own style" and it opened up a space for me to create a dialogue about my relationship with my wife and learning a new language.
The drawing is ink and pencil, on cream colored paper and is roughly 9in x 12in. JT Daniels, circa 2012
